These terms cover use of this website and the personal training services provided by Abigail Marín, an independent personal trainer based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida ("the trainer"). Using the site or booking a session means you accept what's written here.
About the site
The content on this site — articles, descriptions, the downloadable PDF — is provided for general information. It is not medical advice. If you have a medical condition, injury, or are pregnant, talk to your doctor before starting any new exercise program.
The free PDF
When you submit your name and email to receive the free PDF, you are requesting that the trainer email it to you via Resend (a transactional email service). You can unsubscribe or request deletion at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Training services
One-on-one personal training is sold in packages or single sessions as described on the site or quoted directly. Specific terms — schedule, location, payment, cancellation window — are agreed in writing between you and the trainer before the first session. Those written terms govern the relationship and take precedence over anything on this page.
Booking and cancellations
Sessions are booked through the Calendly widget on this site or by direct message. The standard cancellation window is 24 hours; sessions cancelled inside that window may be billed at full rate at the trainer's discretion. Specific package terms override this default.
Assumption of risk
Physical training carries inherent risk of injury. Clients are responsible for disclosing medical conditions, recent injuries, and medications before training begins. A standard liability waiver is signed at the first session.
Payments and refunds
Payment terms are stated at the time of purchase. Unused sessions in a package can generally be refunded on a pro-rated basis if cancellation is requested in writing. Disputes are handled directly — please email before opening a chargeback.
Intellectual property
The text, photography, and PDF on this site are owned by Abigail Marín. Personal, non-commercial use is fine. Republishing or reselling the material requires written permission.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by Florida law, the trainer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or its content. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes are handled in Broward County, Florida.
Changes
These terms may be updated occasionally. The "last updated" date above will change when they do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
